Count your blessings

I've written this post 15 times (at least) in my head today while in assorted vehicles. Let's see how it comes out now.

"God blesses every day, we just have to look for it." That's what the mug on my desk says. I've decided that I'm going to find the blessings in each day, and since I'm attempting to post on here every day, it just makes sense to post that here too. Some days may just be a post about my blessings, and other days they might just be postscript to the longer post. I'll try not to resort to the simplistic one word answers very often.

Thinking about this post all day helped me to remain positive, even when I felt the Grouch monster creeping in. I tend to be a positive person, but I try to temper that...nothing is more annoying than when you're totally frustrated with your job, and someone says "Well at least you have a job." However, I do try to find the positive to whatever is happening in my life.

So today's blessing is that I can notice and appreciate my blessings, and that my life is full of them.

What a lovely and positive outlook. I think that as mothers, our positivity has a direct effect on our children and their outlook.

A very good thing to hold in my heart! Thank you!
