I'm finally finding a little Christmas spirit
I've actually been very busy working on gifts for several weeks now. But tonight I had to actually put up Christmas decorations. I haven't taken pictures...I'll do that tomorrow. But there's at least a little bit out. I have a lot of great ideas for decorating, but not a dime to put towards them. I used a $10 gift card to buy a few things today so that I could have the color scheme I wanted on my temporary tree. I'll explain that tomorrow as well. Now I'm going to bed.

Just read your previous posts about trying to get some holiday cheer to Daddylang. I, for one, have no idea how you must be feeling during this holiday season--trying to keep things normal for your kids at home and still worried for and missing your husband while he serves in Iraq.
In my neighborhood I see this house where they hang a bedsheet from the gutters with the words "Welcome Home Michael". It happened this summer and around Thanksgiving. I wonder if Michael is serving in the military and has gotten to come home.
I thank your whole family for the sacrifices it makes for all of us by keeping us safe while we go about our normal day to day. Daddylang makes it possible for us to do that. I intend to remember that and be grateful for their work.
