Sayre says:
Every day as I go to work, I see things around me that make me laugh. Usually these are in the forms of signs. So take your camera with you as you go about your business and take a picture of the things that make you laugh along the way (but it doesn't necessarily HAVE to be a sign).

Today was a holiday here in langville, and so I didn't have my opportunity to take the picture I had decided on. So I'll have to paint the picture for you (and tomorrow, I'll take the picture and upload it.)
The Monster attends the same daycare PB started attending at 3 1/2...so we've been going to this place most weeks for 6 years. The front of the daycare has a little circle, with parking spots on one side, and the entrance across from it. The center is a pretty good sized island, with a slight rise to it. I don't know if I would even call it a hill...it's that slight. But since he could run, the Monster has called this "THE MOUNTAIN" and insists he has to climb it most mornings. Sometimes I sing that silly song.
"The Monster went over the Mountain,
the Monster went over the mountain,
the Monster went over the mountain,
to get to school today."
But most days he yells at me to not sing. So then I mumble it under my breath, because I'm adult like that.
I know that someday, he is going to visit that spot, and see that it was never anywhere near a mountain. But for right now, it feels like the largets mountain, and he gets that small thrill and joy every day. And that makes me smile.

How very sweet! Thanks for sharing!
I have fond memories of things that I thought were SO big as a kid and now understand they were not.
Great that you wrote this down and can come back to it later.
That's rather sweet, children love these little rituals :)
